1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the RTpetshop website (rtshopstore.com) and placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our site or services.

2. Who Can Purchase

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your country) to place an order with RTpetshop. By completing a purchase, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

3. Product Descriptions & Pricing

We do our best to ensure that all product descriptions, images, and prices on our site are accurate and up to date. However, errors can occasionally occur. If we discover a significant error in the price or description of a product you have ordered, we will contact you before processing your order and give you the option to confirm or cancel it.

All prices are displayed in the currency applicable to your region. For customers in the European Union, prices include VAT where required by law. Prices may vary by market and are subject to change without notice.

4. Order Acceptance & Cancellation

Placing an order on our site is an offer to purchase — it is not a confirmed sale until we send you an order confirmation by email. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of pricing errors, suspected fraud, or stock unavailability.

EU & UK customers: Under the Consumer Rights Directive, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving any reason. To exercise this right, please contact us at contact@rtshopstore.com within that period. Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving the returned goods, using the same payment method used for the original purchase. Return shipping costs are your responsibility unless the item is faulty or incorrectly sent.

5. Payment Methods

We accept payment via Stripe (credit and debit cards) and PayPal. All transactions are processed securely. RTpetshop does not store your full card details — these are handled directly by our payment providers in accordance with PCI-DSS standards.

Payment is taken at the time of order. If a payment fails, your order will not be confirmed.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, graphics, and design — is owned by or licensed to RTpetshop and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any of our content without our prior written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RTpetshop will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of our site or products. Our total liability to you for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the order in question.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including EU and UK consumer protection laws).

8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Brazil. Any disputes arising from your use of our site or a purchase will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Senhor do Bonfim, Bahia, Brazil.

If you are a consumer located in the EU, you may also have the right to use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
